By combining the service life reliability of a flooded battery with the performance energy density of a valve-regulated battery, BSB created the real true long service life battery – the LSE range. The range offers 20 years design life and a cycle life of 1000 cycles to 80% DOD according to IEC896-2. This range of battery is highly suitable for telecom, UPS, renewable energy system and power station etc.

Construction
- Positive plates – Thick high Sn low Ca grids to resist corrosion and prolong life
- Negative plates – Balanced lead-calcium grids for improve recombination efficiency
- Separators – Advanced AGM separators for ultra low float current
- Electrolyte – Dilute chemical grade sulphuric acid
- Battery container and cover – ABS
- Pillar seal – 100% factory tested, proven two layers epoxy resin seal
Charging Voltage and Setting
- Constant voltage charging is recommended
- Recommended float charge voltage: 2.25VPC @20-25°C
- Float voltage temperature compensation: -3mV/°C/cell
- Float voltage range: 2.23 to 2.27 VPC@20- 25°C
- Cyclic application charge voltage : 2.35V/cell
- Max charge current allowable : 0.25C10A
